Gramin Samaj Kalyan Samiti (GRASS), founded on August 20, 1996, by Mr. Gopal Singh Chauhan, is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering rural communities in Uttarakhand and beyond. Registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act XXI, 1860, GRASS addresses socio-economic challenges faced by women, farmers, and marginalized groups.
Through initiatives in livelihood enhancement and women’s empowerment, GRASS is fostering economic independence and self-reliance in over 42,945 individuals across 1,645 villages.
